DDT & Live Music

Interested in Playing Live With Us?

Since 2009, Dissonance Dance Theatre has collaborated with local musicians and ensembles. Past collaboration includes Catholic University’s Rome School of Music (Composition Department – graduate and undergraduate programs – and  Women’s Ensemble), Sine Qua Non (Blue Alley Band), Atlantic Reed Consort, and the Georgetown Quintet. Music is the source for many of DDT’s choreographic works. We proudly maintain ASCAP, and BMI licenses annually, supporting musical works.

Dissonance is always looking for new music and musicians (single or ensemble) to work with, alongside or from. If you wish to inquire about the possibility to work with us, please contact us at info@ddtdc.com. Please write “Music Inquiry” in the subject line.
